Japan is now the first Asian country to top the charts in terms of Pokemon Go use. Last week, game creator Niantic released an announcement that after a long wait, Pikachu’s birthplace will finally start broadcasting the popular game. Niantic CEO John Hanke said that Pokemon is a wonderful franchise that came from Japan.

The game’s availability is part of its creators’ partnership with Mcdonald’s Japan. It was also last week when representatives from Mcdonald’s JP confirmed that 400 of its branches will serve as Pokemon Go battle gyms, while the rest of its branches will serve as PokéStops.

In an effort to manage its servers as players began jumping into the game, Niantic leveled the game’s launching in Japan to other international countries.

Japanese Pokemon fans played the game eagerly hitting Tokyo’s busy streets to catch their favorite Pokemon creatures. Screenshots from their phones while playing the game were all over the internet right now. To ensure their safety, Japanese authorities issued a comprehensive safety advisory for them.

The game’s success brought Nintendo on top over the last few weeks bringing $23billion to its value.
