Fans of the original Star Wars trilogy remember the speeder bike chase scene from Return of the Jedi. In the video Racing on Endor, the iconic scene is recreated with the use of drones that are made to look like the speeder bikes featured in the film. Each one is fitted with an action figure based on the characters from the film.
Each of the drones are operated by skilled drone racers through the use of first person view goggles. The FPV goggles allow each operator to see the forest from the perspective of the bikes. The recreation was filmed in the northern Californian redwood forests, just like in the movie.
