PLDT, Inc. looks to complete data centers in Makati City and Clark, Pampanga by the middle of this year. An expansion to the Cebu facility is likely, as they target digitizing government operations in the next administration. According to PLDT Executive VP Ernesto R. Alberto, the final touches of the Makati data center is being completed.
After the completion of the Makati and Clark facilities, PLDT’s total rack capacity will be at 8,300 by the time it opens in the coming months. Presently, the total rack capacity is 3,340.
