Wyper likes to think of itself as the Tinder for car buyers. The new iOS and Android app has adapted the latter’s swipe left-swipe right matchmaking magic to car shopping. In this ‘Tinder for cars, you swipe left when you see a car you don’t like and swipe right for one that interests you. But this is its only similarity with the famous matchmaking app.
There are actually powerful analytics in play here as Wyper’s algorithm learns what you’re interested in the more you swipe. Based on your swiping data, Wyper will filter car choices and stop showing you ones that you won’t be interested in. When you do find the “one” or potential car that you want to check out you can contact the dealer or seller through the app anonymously.
“We want you to find the perfect car that you want,” said Wyper creator Aaron Rosenthal. “Don’t settle.”
