Asia Brewery, Inc. partnered up with Heineken International B.V. in an attempt to add more premium beer brands to their diversified beverage portfolio. The agreement between the two was signed last Friday, as revealed by the local company’s owner LT Group Inc. in a disclosure to the PSE.
Heineken’s global policies will be implemented, as well as its approaches in relation to local sourcing, supplier code, water management, employee healthcare, and human rights. The partnership remains subject to customary closing conditions. The operations of AB Heineken are expected to start later this year during the fourth quarter.
