Tinder has recently announced the testing of its new friend-finding feature. Called “Tinder Social”, the idea is to offer ways for groups of friends to find and connect with other groups in real life. The feature lets users swipe and match with other groups that they want to get to know.
The caveat is that it allows a user’s Facebook friends to be revealed to him or her — and vice versa. The good news is that this particular feature is still being experimented on and is only available for a small group of users in Australia. The feature makes for a departure from the app’s general discreteness but makes up for it with brand new opportunities.
