This Wednesday, Glenn Beck is set to meet with the Facebook CEO after the former expressed his concern about the suppression of conservative voices and ideas in the social networking site’s Trending Topics section.
The talk show host had said that “It would be interesting to look him in the eye as he explains and a win for all voices if we can come to a place of real trust with this powerful tool.”
He added, “The question that needs to be answered Wednesday is: Will Mark see this as an opportunity to free all points of view but at the same time unify America and the world.”
It’s not certain who else will be joining the meeting but Beck said there might be between 8-10 people aside from Zuckerberg.
Facebook has faced criticism for its Trending Topics section after it has been revealed that the section’s editors may have had a hand in suppressing conservative news outlets. This Wednesday, Zuckerberg is set to meet with prominent conservatives apart from Beck to discuss as well as “share their points of view” on the matter.
