Filipino Consortium Offers P170 Billion Infrastructure Project

An ambitious PPP (public-private partnership) project is now on the table for the incoming administration as a group of companies led by Philtrak Inc. proposed to construct a network of interconnected tunnels nationwide to help solve traffic woes and support the agriculture sector of the country.

The proposed interconnected tunnels will have regular opening slots and will allow the entry and exit of specially designed passenger vehicles, cargo freights, and refrigerated and non-refrigerated vans of farmers and fishermen. In addition to this, townships adjacent the tunnel will be built to serve as homes for families who may wish to “reverse migrate” and reside there.

Dubbed as The Philippines Integrated Trackways Systems, the proposed project aims to support farmers and fishermen by eliminating the middleman and allowing them to transport their products on their own. “Accordingly, their income will exponentially increase while food prices for the entire country will dramatically decrease,” Philtrak said.

The consortium is composed of Philtrak Inc., Del Monte Motor Works Corp., Del Monte Land Transport Inc., Micrologics Systems Inc., Versatech Engineering Consultants Inc., and Land Excel Corp.
