Removing Facebook App May Save Your Phone’s Battery Life

There are several ways to save battery life on your smartphone. One more has since been discovered and tested: Samuel Gibbs from The Guardian performed a week-long test on an iPhone 6S and concluded that by removing the app, at least 15% in terms of battery life could be saved.

The removal of the Facebook app not only conserved more battery life, but it also provided a chunk of storage back. For Gibbs, at least 500MB returned to him. If the deletion of these essential apps is not an option, then maybe getting a battery case or even a battery pack to help charge your phone will do the trick.
