UWP is Microsoft’s answer

The San Francisco’s Moscone Center hosted 5,000 software developers for Microsoft Corp.’s annual Build conference last Wednesday. With everything around us being diversified and universal, Microsoft’s attempt to build cross-device platform is still an on-going pursuit. Last year July entered UWP-Universal Windows Platform.

This technology enables developers and programmers to create a software or a program that will cross-run on any or multiple devices–such as tablets, mobiles, laptops and desktops-ensuring the users it will work on any given platform. Microsoft’s plan says they can write programs on Windows 10 OS and have it run with consistency even when it is on Apple Inc.’s iOS and Alphabet Inc.’s Android operating systems.

Up until now it is still yet to be credited and fully-functional. As there are still major incompatibilities and striking difference in a program when running through various recalled platforms.

However there are still nearing opportunities ahead due to the ‘hundreds of thousands’ Windows users being added each month according to PicsArt General Manager and Chief Business Development Officer Wilson Kriegel
