On new year, the Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. (PSE) officials rang the opening bell not only to welcome the year but also to signal the first trading day of 2016.
During his welcome remarks, PSE Chairman Jose T. Pardo had this to say, “Alongside achieving business targets, I hope that this year, we will be able to help more and more Filipinos to be financially educated. I hope that the initiatives of the Exchange will encourage our countrymen to take advantage of investing in the stock market.”
