Dictionary App for the Linguistically Curious Unveiled

For those who wish to give learning a new language a shot, there is a new dictionary app that can help with that goal. The Miss D app is free to download, although a pro version exists through an upgrade that costs $1.49. The pro version has a greater range of features, such as audio clips of translations.

According to co-founder Tony Tao, the app is aimed to creating curiosity in others to learn other languages. “It’s all about curiosity,” says Tao, “By using a typical one to one dictionary app, you may learn hello in Chinese, however you may never learn hello in Italian, Russian, Spanish or Korean. The ultimate goal is to extend your learning circle, not only giving you what you want, but also what you need.”
