Mattel’s View-Master VR headset is set to receive new upgrades that are likely to cement it as one of the greatest cardboard viewers on the market as soon as it launches in the fall. A week ago, the viewer had earned a milestone designation of being the first VR-focused hardware to be sold online and in-store by Apple.
Now, the company is set to provide a preview of its newest hardware, known as the Viewer DLX. The preview will be shown at the New York Toy Show. The current iteration is sold at $30, while the DLX is said to be more expensive at $40. It should be noted that there will be notable upgrades that will come with such a price hike.
