The operations of the King-King copper and gold project is set to begin by 2017. The project is to be developed by the National Development Corp. and its partner, St. Augustine Gold and Copper Ltd. Previously, the only thing that stood in their way was the lack of a Certification Precondition, which has since been remedied as of last month.
In addition to that, a Declaration of Mine Project Feasibility has also been received from the Mines and Geoscience Bureau in the previous month. The King-King tenement covers around one thousand, six hundred fifty-six hectares with the measured and indicated mineral resource. Said resource consists of 5.4 billion pounds of contained copper and at least 10.3 million troy ounces of contained gold.
