Slack has just appointed a former Palantir executive to the position of Chief Security Officer. For the newly created position of Chief Architect, they have hired an ex-Facebook employee, who also worked on the company’s AI effort. The company has grown considerably since its founding three years ago, and the filling of both positions is solid proof of that.
Geoff Belknap is set to fill the role of Chief Security Officer at Slack. Before that, he was Chief Information Security Officer at Palantir. Keith Adams will be the first person to hold the title of Chief Architect at Slack, with his main responsibilities being the overall technical architecture and technologies that compose it. The new positions will surely be instrumental in maintaining the company’s security and stability.
