Y Combinator launches new Venture Capital Fund

Y Combinator

One of the leading seed fund providers of Silicon Valley, Y Combinator, has created a new venture capital fund called Y Combinator Continuity Fund I, L.P. The company submitted the filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission last June 16 but did not provide much information about it. This recent development may be a means for Y Combinator to further its investments in the startups’ later stages. It has supported more than 800 startups since 2005, including Dropbox, Weebly, Twitch, Airbnb, and Stripe. The company regularly invests 120,000 dollars twice a year in as many as 85 startups.
