7-Eleven Operator to Ramp Up Expansion in The Philippines

The licensee of the 7-Eleven chain is set to ramp up the store’s expansions throughout the country. The company is on track to reach as much as two thousand stores by the end of the year. The purpose for the move is to protect its status as an industry leader amid stiff competition that’s been becoming increasingly tough as of late.

The capital expenditure budget might possibly reach a record Php 3.5 billion. At least four hundred new stores are to open nationwide. In the previous year, the budget was no higher than Php 2.5 billion whilst three hundred thirty-five new stores were launched. It should be noted that thus far, 7-Eleven has enjoyed a “favorable” start to the year, both financially and operationally.
