A Brown Co. unit launched its P500-million bulk water supply project last week in Opol, Misamis under a public-private partnership scheme. AP Bulk Water Co., Inc., a subsidiary, held a groundbreaking ceremony on April 20th, by the Lumayagan River. The project is in partnership with Opol’s local government.
According to A Brown Chairman Walter W. Brown, the company is very pleased with the level of cooperation of the local government of Opol. “By working together, we would be able to improve the welfare of the local community and the province.” He also described the project as a public-private venture of “huge importance.”
