Cosco Capital revealed that its net profit managed to grow by 11% during the year’s first quarter. The net profit is boosted by the strength of its expanding grocery, liquor distribution, and real estate ventures. In a disclosure to the PSE, the specific amount earned in the first quarter was revealed to be P1.66 billion.
The company also said in a statement that “the growth in consolidated revenues has been largely driven by a combination of the group’s sustained organic growth.” Other attributed factors that led to the improved financial performance include revenue contributions from strategic acquisitions involving commercial real estate and speciality retailing business investments.
