The earnings of Crown Asia Chemicals Corp. has increased in the year’s first three months. This is due to the strength of its pipe business. Their net profit managed to climb 87.2%, specifically earning P32.2 million. This is a clear step up from the P17.2 million during the previous year’s first quarter.
From this point onward, the revenues from the company’s compounds segment might pick up within the coming months. This is amid improvements to bottle sales, integrated circuit tubes packaging, films and sheets applications. Crown Asia Chairman Walter H. Villanueva stated that they are looking forward to a more challenging year with “high optimism and expectation.”
