Disney+ Introduces “GroupWatch” Feature

Disney+ introduced its new feature called “GroupWatch” wherein its viewers can watch movies or TV series together at the same time while in different locations.

The streaming service has already piloted its new feature in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. This week, it introduces its new feature in the United States.

Jerrell Jimerson, the chief product officer for Disney’s streaming services, has revealed that the feature has been in the works even before Covid-19 hit worldwide.

The new feature doesn’t require users to install a browser extension and will work on any device.

Disney+’s goal was to develop something easy and comfortable for its viewers.
