Lyft is adding a brand new feature that allows users to schedule rides in advanced. This can be critically useful for those who need rides to the airport or to crucial business meetings. Other companies, such as Gett, have already employed this feature and others are currently toying with the concept.
A spokesperson for the company stated: “passengers have asked us for this feature, so we want to roll this out to give additional peace of mind to our users when they have specific trips coming up – like to the airport. People like the security of knowing they already have a ride scheduled.”
