YouTube sensation PewDiePie is teaming up with Maker Studios to create a brand new network: Revelmode. The new network will mark its focus on community, content, and charity. It will also include a roster of handpicked talent with the voice and aesthetic that aligns with the brand. The brand as a whole is driven by PewDiePie’s own ideas and experiences.
It also revolves around gaming culture, hence its name. Maker Studios, a media company that produces and distributes content via YouTube, already has a network of 55,000 independent creators who draw in 10 billion views collectively per month. PewDiePie, real name Felix Kjellberg, joined the Maker Studios network back in 2012.
News of this new development was announced by Kjellberg on Wednesday in a video blog.
