The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) posted the previous year’s pre-tax earnings. It amounted to a total of Php 1.1 Billion. This was after it incurred an increase in foreign exchange losses. However, they did not provide a comparative figure for 2014.
Another thing that was not provided or disclosed was its bottom line for both 2014 and 2015. The positive inflow allowed for the undertaking of several infrastructure projects. The intent is to improve the Freeport’s attractiveness to investors. Operating revenue last year increased by 12.8% whilst total expenditures rose by 14.4%.
