Scandy Raises $1M for 3D Photographs

Scandy aims to make printing 3D photographs easier. The company announced that $1 million has been raised from Callais Capital to help bring the technology to a much broader audience. According to Managing Director and Chief Information Officer Hal Callais, the company has “an opportunity to define how users capture and consume 3D content.”

Furthermore, he adds: “By allowing a user to create 3D content, share it on social media, and order 3D prints from the same application, Scandy has made 3D easy for the average consumer.” Their iOS app is already live, with an Android app coming as soon as “the end of the month.”
