Philippines is known as a BPO outsourcing destination but it is more than just that. In the era of digital disruption on the rise, the Philippines is a haven for promising startups from its neighboring countries like Japan, South Korea, India and China. The startup movements are becoming a popular scene thriving to serve as an experimental hub for those with limited resources and funding especially to those who are still on the testing phase or experimental stage. Particularly, Manila ranks 2nd and Cebu ranks 8th in the Tholon’s list of 2015 Outsourcing Destinations. An alternative Silicon Valley , an affordable version for history and vision makers.
