Google’s CEO Criticizes Donald Trump’s Anti-Muslim Stance

Sundar Pichai has only held the position of CEO at Google for a few months, but he’s already taken a lead in regards to moral leadership. As a former immigrant from India, Pichai wrote a heartfelt post concerning the racism and xenophobia that has been recently espoused by presidential candidate, Donald Trump.

Although he did not directly mention Trump by name, the entire post seems to be directed squarely at the billionaire, who has been making controversial statements as of late regarding a ban he wishes to impose on Muslims entering the United States of America. Pichai drew from his own experiences as an immigrant for the post, ultimately making the point that the United States has always been a ‘country of immigrants’. His post has since drawn in praise and support from many, including former NASA Mars rover lead planner Scott Maxwell.
