Last September, Microsoft released Office 2016 for Windows, but only a few of its customers were able to get the latest version of the company’s Office suite during that time. This February 2016, more users are starting to get Office 2016 apps, which is part of their Office 365 ProPlus subscription.
Office 365 ProPlus includes the ability to install Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Project, Access and Skype on up to 5 PCs, including Macs. Plus, customers can use Office on up to five additional smartphones and tablets at $12 per user per month. For subscribers who want to receive updates for their Office 2013, Microsoft will continue to offer updates until February 2016.
