Cebu real estate developer AboitizLand is setting its eyes on Luzon. The real estate arm of the Aboitiz Group is allotting P2.35 billion for the development of residential and commercial projects in Batangas, Tarlac and Nueva Ecija. AboitizLand said it will develop around 83 hectares of land initially.
Rafael de Mesa, vice president for Business Innovation of AbotizLand, said they saw huge potential for land development in Luzon and wanted to become a stronger player in the national scene.
The projects include the Sands Sea-Side Residences, a high end residential property which would be the first in the area. The other developments are the 13-hectare Ajoya Capas in Tarlac and the 17-hectare Ajoya Cabanatuan in Nueva Ecija.
AboitizLand vice president for Marketing John Amon said they will start launching and selling this year but construction will start by the first or second quarter next year. The actual turnover will be a year and a half or two years after, said Amon.
