AngelHackathon 2015
The world’s largest hackathon event, AngelHack, will be holding simultaneous events from July to September this year. AngelHack is back for its eighth series happening worldwide. As the frontrunner of the hackathon revolution, it has paved the way of numerous tech startups in the Silicon Valley.
Computer programmers and techies involved in software and hardware development such as graphic and interface designers will join forces to create new software projects in this hackathon event.

Geeks on A Beach 3: Startups, Tech, and Design
This August 20-21, Boracay Island, Philippines will boast something more than its white sands and blue waters, for it will host Geeks on A Beach 3.
Geeks on A Beach (GOAB) is an annual activity where established businessmen, investors, media outfits, and aspiring entrepreneurs meet and “speak the truth about startups, tech, and design.” Now on its 3rd year, GOAB continues to organize networking and pitching events, training sessions, product demonstrations, and forums to find new ideas that may bring significant changes to the world. Last year’s event was graced by important personalities such as Dave McClure of 500 Startups, Maria Ressa of Rappler, and Minette Navarrete from Kickstart Ventures.
This year’s line of speakers for Geeks on A Beach include Scott Robinson of Plug and Play Center and Atty. Joy Cañeba of AirAsia Zest, among others. It’s a good place for startup entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas or present their prototypes, and also promote their business to businessmen, venture capitalists, and the press.
FinTech Week London 2015
After receiving positive feedback from individuals who work in Technology, Investments, Marketing, Start-ups, Trading, and other services, the team that brought Financial Technology (FinTech) to the public’s eye is back for its second hit. Scheduled on the 14th to the 20th of September, Fintech Week London 2015 aims to unite the world of Fintech and enhance the dialogue between established multi-nationals and startups.
The event will focus on five themes: Money and Payments; Markets, Trading, and Investments; Big Data, Enterprise, and Security; Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance; and Startups and Future Funding. Participants can get involved in workshops, talks, panels, exhibits, and start-up demos that tackle these themes. NEXT 2015
NEXT, an annual event that confers the impacts of digital transformation to the world, is again opening the table for new discussions and insights on digitalization. In its 10th year anniversary, NEXT merged with the Reeperbahn Festival, one of the biggest festivals in Europe. It will be held on September 24-25 at Hamburg, Germany.
This event, which is participated by individuals that hold major roles from different industries and startups, will focus more on the theme, “How we will live”, or how market consumers were affected by today’s digitalization and how this can affect the next years to come.
NEXT is inviting startup entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas and get the opportunity to join the event and be introduced to experts, potential funders, and the public. For more information, visit their site.
IDCEE 2015
Are you a startup from the Central and Eastern Europe and are needing media coverage and venture capitalists funding? If yes, then IDCEE is for you.
Investor’s Day Central and Eastern Europe (IDCEE) is an annual conference where venture capitalists and investors meet various startups that need subsidy and recognition. IDCEE focuses on the startups from the CEE region, aiming to be a stepping stone for an active CEE market. This annual gathering is also intended for Internet entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and angel investors, CEOs of IT companies, IT professionals, and digital media. Dubbed as “Turkey’s Most Influential Internet Conference”, Webrazzi Summit has been an event that celebrates entrepreneurial business happening in the virtual world. This year’s Web Summit, to be held on October 21-22 at the Wyndham Grand İstanbul Levent, will cover a number of topics including Social Media, Digital Marketing, E-commerce, Angel Investment, Online Gaming, Mobile Applications and more. With Linda Kozlowski of Evernote and Stefano Maruzzi of GoDaddy among its queue of speakers, this event has the potential to be a pot of great insights, stories, and motivations for businessmen, especially startups.
