FDC Still Keen on PPP Projects

Filinvest Development Corp. is still setting its sights on infrastructure projects, all of which is under the public-private partnership program of the government. FDC Director Joseph M. Yap revealed last week that the conglomerate might consider bidding for the P122.8 billion Laguna Lakeshore Expressway Dike project if the toll road and real estate components are broken up by the government.

FDC remains keen on participating in the P170.7 billion South Line of the North-South Railway Project. They also plan to take a look at the Clark International Airport, should the government choose to auction it off. The consortium of Japan Airport Terminal Corp., Filinvest, and Sojitz Corp. has already been pre-qualified for their participation in the auction for the regional airports.
