After last year’s little BB-8 toys made by Sphero–a toy maker company which also helped in making the technology inside the on-screen BB-8 on the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens–fans have been wishing that this droid is truer to the original. Spinmaster, a Canadian toy and entertainment company have released its own version of BB-8, a nearly life-sized remote controlled robotic toy.
The toy is 19 inches tall and responds to voice commands. It will respond when you say its name and roll over to you when you call it. It has a Follow Me mode so it can always be by your side. The toy will also have lights and authentic sound effects from the movie. This $180 collectible toy isn’t available until later this fall just in time for the holidays.
