PAL hopes to be a part of the elite circle of carriers that adopt the highest service and product standards within five years. However, the congestion at Manila’s international gateway stands as the company’s biggest constraint to growth, as revealed by PAL President Jaime J. Bautista in a briefing.
For 2016, PAL projects its passenger volumes to hit beyond 14 million, which is higher than the 12 million seen in the previous year. Another expectation is the improvement in the load factor from 2015’s 71% to 75%. On Tuesday, it was revealed that shares in PAL Holdings, Inc. remained unchanged at P4.80.
