Robot Lawyer Created by British Teen

Joshua Browder, the inventor of the website that helps people appeal unfair parking tickets, has struck again. Taking his initial concept one step further, he has now created a robot lawyer to aid the public in dealing with a wide range of legal issues. The robot works by first asking questions regarding the situation. After enough information has been gathered, the robot will generate a letter that can be used by the person.

Browder explains that the robot uses text comparisons which includes word order, keywords, and pronouns. The more people use the robot, the greater improvement the algorithm goes through. Similar to his DoNotPay website, the info in the appeals is backed by both Freedom of Information data and legal advice that Browder himself had gathered. The Do Not Pay robot can be accessed by logging in to donotpay.co.uk
