A survey has been released this week, showing three things that matter most to angel investors beyond a return on investment. Propel, an online investment platform, conducted the research together with Breakout Labs, the Innovation Node – Los Angeles, and the MIT Alumni of Northern California.
When asked about what factors led to the kind of companies they fund and why, the angel investors responded, providing three things as top reasons. Nearly seventy-five percent cited management teams as a reason; simple technology is another, as most aren’t keen to invest in techs they don’t get; and finally, a desire to better the world by solving its biggest challenges.
