United Airlines is finally allowing families with young children to board early. The move takes effect on February 15, allowing those with kids aged two and under the opportunity to get settled before other passengers rush in, clamoring for that precious overhead bin space.
United’s senior vice president of customer, Sandra Pineau-Boddison, has stated that the move comes as part of a greater effort to be more attentive towards the needs of the passengers. This brand new policy can also be quite helpful in getting planes out on time, since all the strollers can now be gate-checked at the same time.
