New Kindle Feature Allows for Easier Ebook Navigation

With the help of its new feature called Page Flip, Amazon just made it easier for ebook readers to navigate different book pages.

During its launching at the Amazon headquarters in New York, an interactive demonstration of the new feature took place. Using Page Flip, readers can skim back and forth through the different parts of a book while saving their original place. The experience is similar to flipping an actual book.

Aside from maintaining highlights and fonts that are easy to comprehend, Page Flip also enables readers to zoom in or zoom out the page that they are reading. It lets them browse page thumbnails and then go back to their original spot once they are done. Even though the app has digitalized the way how people read, it is bringing their users back to the functions of reading an actual book.

According to Kindle, nonfiction readers will benefit the most from the new feature as they read in a nonlinear way. It is compatible with any kind of gadgets, whether it’s a phone or a Kindle e-reader. Kindle believes that it will gather positive feedback from its users.
