Chameleon, a company that helps startups explain their products or services better to their customers, announced today that it has raised $1.9 million seed funding. The funding round was led by True Ventures.
Pulkit Agrawal, CEO and Co-founder of Chameleon, said that startups can really have a hard time in marketing their company. They can work hard, and spend lots of dollars to get new users, but those users can go as quickly as they come once they get confused with the product or service.
Chameleon offers a different approach by including tutorials in the actual product. If a new user is trying out your product, you can instruct them where to click to accomplish certain functions. You can create tutorials in your own site without any coding required!
Chameleon’s clients include BloomReach and Urban Airship. For now, Chameleon is only available in the web, but Agrawal is open to creating a mobile version soon.
