The rise in demand for three Ford vehicles namely the Ranger pickup, the Everest and the EcoSport sports utility vehicles (SUV), helped skyrocket the vehicle sales of Ford Philippines to a considerable 78% increase last month – the best May performance they have had so far.
A record high of 2,933 units were sold last month with the all-new Ford Everest leading the list with 1,069 units sold. Ford Philippines attributed the extraordinary demand of the Everest to its advanced design and technology and intelligent four-wheel feature that customers look for.
The company has sold 13,961 units in just the first five months of 2016, which is already 63% more than its total sales last year. Lance Mosely, the managing director of Ford Philippines, said that they will continue to build their momentum and reach out to more customers with their expanding lineup of vehicles.
