Jaguar Land Rover Ltd. announced their partnership with Tile Inc. to help drivers leave home, or other places, with their essential personal items. Tile makes small, waterproof tags that use Bluetooth low-energy radio and GPS technology to find objects that they are affixed. The typical users put them on purses, wallets, smartphones, and other important items.
With Tile’s new partnership with Jaguar Land Rover, their app will now be featured on the “InControl Apps” menu found on the 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport, which is a premium compact SUV. This makes it a coveted position for an in-car app. Drivers will be able to list down essential items and check it every time they enter vehicles using the InControl Apps system.
