Have you ever experienced exchanging currency in a foreign country and finding out you were ripped off? And the worst part is that there’s another outlet with better rates just around the corner?
It was this very experience that led to the creation of Currenseek, a mobile app that will help travelers find the best exchange rates. The app will allow tourists to see real-time information about the current exchange rates, including updates. Similarly like Waze, it will help them locate the outlets with the best rates nearest to them.
Amir Hangbin, co-founder of this Kuala-Lumpur based startup, says that for now, the only information available for exchange rates is only for Kuala Lumpur. They do have plans to expand to other cities once they have more funding.
