Earlier this year, Taylor wrote an open letter to Apple speaking out against its “unfair practice” of not paying artists during the free three-month trial when users stream their music. Apple soon reversed its policy but many were still not convinced that Apple and Taylor have patched things for good. Their new partnership should squash any remaining doubts about their relationship.
Swift announced her plans to release a documentary of her 1989 World Tour Concert exclusively through Apple Music. The film will cover her entire concert held at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium, and showcase musical guests who dropped by to join her onstage as well as rehearsal videos and other behind-the-scene footage from her tour. It is set to be released on December 20 on Apple’s streaming service.
