Tim Draper Raises $190 Million for New Venture Fund

Tim Draper has announced that a brand new $190 million early-stage fund has been raised. Draper is set to co-lead this new fund with his son, Billy, along with Andy Tang. The name used by the trio is Draper Associates, which has always been a personal investment vehicle for Draper.

Regarding the newest fund, Draper reveals that the capital has already been invested in several companies. One of these companies is Compology, a San Francisco-based logistics company for the waste management industry. The company places sensors into dumpsters, enabling garbage companies to increase their route efficiencies based on how full their dumpsters are.
