Three-year-old startup, Ematic, works by plugging its software tools into a company’s campaign management method (e.g. MailChimp, Get Response) or its website. Ematic has two different applications to tackle different sides of digital marketing:
HiIQ works with the user’s database to identify when it is best to say hi, and to whom. With this, the marketer can save time and energy and the audience can have fewer disturbances on his or her side.
Bye IQ on the other hand works by halting users who are about to leave your website. It determines which messages and action to display and when, making sure that it does not interrupt the user’s experience.
Founder and CEO, Paul Tenney got the idea for Ematic back in 2012 when coming to Singapore and seeing that existing digital marketing solutions for the companies in the locality don’t work the same as with the companies in the US. He started Ematic to provide a better way for businesses in Asia. Ematic announced today (Dec 2) that they have raised S$1.5 million or US$1.07 million fresh funding from a seed round led by Wavemaker Partners, and joined by 500 Startups and Covergence Ventures.
