At least ten new ‘mojis’ will be introduced to Skype users soon. The new Skype mojis are to include a flirting banana, an amorous octopus, and various other enamored animals. This is the result of a partnership between the Microsoft-owned Skype and legendary musician/former Beatles member Sir Paul McCartney.
Skype group program manager Steven Abrahams noted during a press event earlier in the week that users have sent over half a billion mojis. The company is eager to partner with several more artists in the future and has left the possibility of further partnerships with McCartney open. Despite his involvement, McCartney’s likeness isn’t likely to appear in the mojis.
