A change has been made to make things easier for Twitter users. Users no longer have to switch between its desktop app, TweetDeck, and its website. There is more no need to to log in separately; if the Twitter website is open, the log-in process on TweetDeck will be automatically skipped.
In relation to this, Twitter also killing off its TweetDeck for Windows application. For the time being, it is still supported on Mac. The company made the decision so that the company could “better focus on enhancing your TweetDeck experience.” It is speculated that the Windows app simply did not have the traction to make it a worthwhile priority. According to Twitter, the changes will reach all users within the coming weeks.
