ShopInSync dubbed as the more “human” way to shop allows users to compare prices and offers before buying online, but the highlight of the startup is its integrated messaging service.
Raj Ramaswamy and Ashish Parnami, who worked together at Yahoo before, founded ShopInSync four months ago. According to Ramaswamy, “We designed ShopInSync to serve the unique needs of the Indian shopper.”
ShopInSync will let you browse through the offerings from top ecommerce sites including Amazon, Snapdeal and Flipkart. After finding a potential purchase, it will then allow you to have discussions with the people you want to consult. Once the purchasing decision is final, you will be taken to the retailer’s site.
ShopInSync will make money by charging a fee to the ecommerce site which the user chose to buy from.
Despite the numerous price comparison and discounts sites in India, ShopInSynch is confident with its unique messaging feature. “The product solves important consumer pain points and makes purchasing easier,” said Vijay.
