The ever-famous dating app Tinder has officially acquired Humin, the San Francisco-based startup. Humin co-founders Ankur Jain and David Wyler will now be joining Tinder’s team as VP of Product and VP of Partnerships in their press release last March 29, 2016. After meeting at Dublin, Sean Rad Founder and CEO of Tinder was convinced that they both have a similar vision and that is to connect real people in the real world. And what better way to do that than to merge the strength of Humin Contacts with Tinder’s dating tool popularity.
Tinder who launched on 2012 and Humin founded on the same year maybe bound to lock partnership as both technology will be able to bridge connection and make online dating more “humane”. ” Humin’s mission is to make technology feel more human”. Online dating can be a stretch for some who are not yet convinced by Tinder. Hopefully this acquisition makes connection with a more strategic yet convenient approach. Humin also has an app called Knock Knock that can manage your phone contacts that would make it easier for you to chat and exchange information with the people around you.
